Trachtenberg & Arena delivers exceptional complex dispute resolution and strategic advisory services for sophisticated business institutions and corporate leaders.
Our clients value our large-firm experience and expertise coupled with the competitive rates and personalized client service that our firm’s size allows us to provide. Over the last 40 years, our lawyers have represented a diverse range of U.S. and international businesses and commercial interests, including banks, Fortune 500 companies, investment firms and funds, closely-held companies and partnerships, and individuals confronted with challenging legal and business issues.
Trachtenberg & Arena, LLP was formed in July 2021. Prior to that time, David Trachtenberg and Stephen Arena practiced together for over 12 years at Trachtenberg Rodes & Friedberg LLP, which David founded in 1988 after beginning his legal career at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, and which Stephen subsequently joined in 2008, following his time at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. Our litigation subject matter experience is broad as we have represented clients in a wide variety of disputed matters. We also have handled a wide range of domestic and international corporate and transactional matters.
We provide the professionalism and service that sophisticated clients expect from the largest firms at the competitive rates and in the context of the close relationships that our smaller platform permits. Our clients engage us when confronted with significant problems. We identify zealously with our clients’ interests and push hard to deliver effective and creative results.
Our Litigation Practice
We bring our sound instincts, work ethic, broad experience, tenacity, judgment and business acumen to bear on every client problem. We counsel clients before, during and after conflicts rise to the level of formal litigation or arbitration proceedings. At all times we strive to resolve disputes in the most productive and cost-effective manner possible, a characteristic that has cemented many client relationships.
Our Of Counsel Relationships
We have a long-standing relationship with corporate lawyer Gregg Shulklapper, who is also formerly of Willkie Farr & Gallagher, with whom we have handled corporate and transactional matters for many years. In addition, we have formed a strong strategic Of Counsel relationship with the firm of Levin & Glasser, P.C., which not only gives us backup but also provides us with a considerably broader footprint as it allows us to draw on Levin & Glasser’s expertise in corporate, transactional, real estate, landlord-tenant, matrimonial and estate planning law.
